St. Charles Athletics
& Activities

At. St. Charles, education extends outside of the classroom door. Studies show that students who participate in athletics and other co-curricular activities have higher grade point averages, better attendance, lower dropout rates, fewer disciplinary problems, higher graduation rates, and better success in college than non-participants.

While scholarship is and must always be the primary aim of a college preparatory education, such qualities as dependability, loyalty, initiative, leadership and cooperation are integral attributes of a truly educated man. Moreover, special abilities and talents, if developed, are important and useful assets to the student and the common good. Student organizations and athletic participation offer a wide range of activities for such development.
