Facilities
The main academic building of four floors houses classrooms, labs, and offices. The large Lower Chapel on the main floor is the site of daily class liturgies, and the spacious new Holy Angels Library is a splendid example of Baroque design. The extensive art facility on the top floor offers opportunities in a variety of media. The two-floor theater building houses a large auditorium and complete drama facilities, as well as a multipurpose room. The athletic facilities include a gymnasium, the home of Cardinal basketball, the Dedger and Rose Jones Natatorium, the Jack Ryan weight-training room, and a multipurpose room used for wrestling, indoor practices and dances. A multi-sport athletic field accommodates football, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball. The Walter Student Commons and the new Student Services Building which houses the kitchen on the first floor, guidance, campus ministry, and nursing on the second floor, and fine arts on the third floor, are the latest additions to the campus. All of these are recent additions to the campus and examples of continuous improvement and expansion. |
