Leonard J. Iannarino Jr. '58 graduated from
Capital University in business management nad spent nine years
as a manufacturing cost analyst with Western Electric Company.
In 1978, he joined the Ohio Department of Liquor Control as
manager of the procurement and distribution division. In 1989,
he becamechief fiscal officer in the division of computer services
and telecommunicationsat the Ohio department of Administrative
Services. He retired in 2001. Iannarino has served on the St.
Charles Advisory Board since 1980 and volunteered with the school's
drama department for 10 years under Doug Montgomery. In 1974,
with several classmates, Iannarino initiated the St. Charles
Class of '58 Scholarship. He is a past chairman of the
St. Charles Annual Fund and serves as co-chair of the alumni
phase for The Campaign for St. Charles. He continues to assist
the school with its restructuring of the school's alumni database.
In 2000, Bishop James A. Griffin invested Iannarino as a Knight
in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
The son of Ann Lombardo Iannarino and the late Leonard J. Iannarino
Sr., he is the older brother of Richard '60, Charles, Jean and
Dianne Iannarino. He is a lifelong member of St. Catharine Church,
where he has served two terms on parish council and is currently
a member of the liturgy committee.
