The Borromean Medals
In 1998, as part of the celebration of the seventy-fifth anniversary
of the founding of Saint Charles Preparatory School, the Saint
Charles Advisory Board established two awards. The first recognizes
an alumnus for outstanding achievement; the second recognizes
outstanding service to Saint Charles by a member of the school
community. These awards, known as the Borromean Medals, are
presented annually on the Feast of Saint Charles Borromeo.
The Borromean Medal for Distinguished Achievement
is presented to an alumnus “in recognition of his accomplishments
which bring honor to self and school; and whose service, leadership,
and concern for Saint Charles support, strengthen, and exemplify
the Saint Charles mission.” |

The Principal's Award
The Principal’s Award for Leadership and Service to Saint
Charles, recently established, recognizes a member of the Saint
Charles community whose leadership and service represent an ongoing
commitment to the school and its students.
The Saint Charles Advisory
Board presents this award to an individual “in recognition
of a continued pursuit of excellence and accomplishments that
show one to be a person ‘for God and others;’ and
who demonstrates continued concern for the school, supporting
and strengthening its mission.” |
