Henry J. (“Hank”) Sherowski has used his architectural and project management skills for many years to benefit St. Charles. He assisted in many long-term capital improvement projects involving the main building, the theatre, and the athletic facilities. These improvements have contributed significantly to the preservation of the campus facilities and the benefit of the students, faculty and staff. Mr. Sherowski was a member of the Saint Charles Advisory Board for 12 years (1990-2002) and continues in an emeritus role.

In 1994, Mr. Sherowsi supervised the construction of the Walter H. Plank field and stadium which included spectator stands, a press box, the baseball complex and outdoor lighting. In 1996, he oversaw the extensive work done inside the Campus Theatre. This included the replacement of the entire electrical system, restoration of the seats, and the construction of the Cavello Center on the lower level.

The following year, Mr. Sherowski supervised the replacement of all windows in the central school building and the Campus Theatre and renovation of the school’s cafeteria and restrooms. He also facilitated the donation of various pieces of equipment to the kitchens in the school and the Cavello Center.

In 1998, Mr. Sherowski contributed his talents in planning the construction of the Coach Jack Ryan Fitness and Training Facility and the expansion and improvement of the locker rooms.
