The St. Charles Mothers Club is a volunteer service club of mothers, step-mothers, guardians, and grandmothers of current St. Charles students.
Current News & Upcoming Meetings
The next meeting of the Mothers Club will be on Tuesday, April 16 @ 7:30 pm in the Cavello Center. At this meeting we will be discussing opportunities for involvement during the 2013/2014 academic year. Elections and appointment of officers and committee chairs will take place at the last meeting of the year on May 14th – same time and place.
Mother-Son Dance – A special night for boys and their Moms and a touching tribute to Senior Moms. Join us for the fun on Friday, May 10th, in the Walter Student Commons.

Purpose and History
The Mothers Club of St. Charles is a volunteer service club whose members are mothers, step-mothers, guardians and grandmothers of current St. Charles Students. They automatically acquire membership when their son or grandson attends St. Charles.
The Mothers Club, as an organization, has served St. Charles for decades. It has made considerable contributions to the St. Charles Community through its volunteer efforts and fundraising activities. It is the central volunteer organizing body for the school. In addition to our standing committees, mothers are often called upon to simply “help out.”
In the Spring of 2012, we conducted a review of the Mothers Club and embarked on a mission to give it more structure and focus so as to raise awareness and, hopefully, involve more mothers.

This committee prepares refreshments and greets prospective parents and students attending the 8th Grade Open House held in November.
Cardinal Christmas Auction Committee

The Cardinal Christmas Auction is the premier fundraising event for the school and this committee organizes every last detail. It’s a fun, popular event attended by over 600 people annually. It includes a dinner, live auction, raffle and silent auction. 2012 is the 25th Anniversary of this event.

Faculty Appreciation Luncheon Committee

The Mothers Club, through this committee, organizes two faculty appreciation luncheons per year. In addition to helping with set up and clean up, volunteers are needed to make and bring in food.
Social Committee

This committee is responsible for organizing social events such as a wine tasting or a craft night that encourage fellowship among St. Charles Mothers and strengthen the St. Charles community.
Alumni Mothers Liaison Committee

Welcome Committee
Chair: Margaret Simmons
This committee organizes a Welcome Event for new mothers in the late Summer/Fall. In addition, it is responsible for providing greeters at special St. Charles events such as the Borromean Lecture.
