The 2015 Combined Class Reunion Celebration will be held September 4-6, 2015 with the Classes of 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010.

The 2015 Summer Reunion Celebration Event’s Schedule:

Friday night, September 4: The weekend’s Main Event: The All-Classes Stag “Beer-n-Brats” STAG gathering from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. in the Robert C. Walter Student Commons. The cost is $25 per person which includes refreshments and a picnic-style brats and burger dinner buffet. Around 7:00 p.m., Principal Jim Lower will give a “State of the School” update and class photos will be taken directly afterward from 7:30-7:50 p.m. Afterward, enjoy complimentary admission to the Cardinal’s home football game that night against Reynoldsburg at Walt Plank Field. No wives or significant other-Alumni only.

 

Saturday, September 5: There will be a morning family bike ride along the Alum Creek Bike Trail starting at 9:00 a.m. Participants will meet in the school’s Campus Theater parking lot beside the “West Campus” brick gateway by 8:45 a.m. Thanks to the generosity of one of our alumni, we are able to provide a bicycle to any out-of-town traveler who wishes to participate in the group ride (Contact alumni director Louis J. Fabro ’83 directly at lfabro@cdeducation.org if you would like to take advantage of this lender program.).

Later in the afternoon on Saturday, alumni and guests can take a tour of the Main and new West Campus facilities from 3:00 – 4:15 p.m. originating from the lobby of the Campus Theater. An All-Classes Mass will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. in Mother of Mercy Chapel for alumni & guests.

Private Class Gathering: Following Saturday’s Campus Tour and All-Classes Mass in Mother of Mercy Chapel:

The Class of 1965: Classmate Jim Finn and his wife, Susan, will host a catered dinner at their home/ $50 per person;
The Class of 1970: Gathering at Cap City Fine Diner in the Stone Ridge Plaza Shopping Center;
The Class of 1975: Gathering at Plank’s Cafe on Parsons Ave.;
The Class of 1980: Gathering at Plank’s Cafe on Parsons Ave.;
The Class of 1985: Gathering at Brio Restaurant at Easton Town Center/$50 per person;
The Class of 1990: Have not yet announced plans to meet Saturday night;
The Class of 1995: Gathering at Brio Restaurant at Easton Town Center;
The Class of 2000: Have not yet announced plans to meet Saturday night;
The Class of 2005: Gathering at Westies Gastropub on South Front Street in downtown Columbus;
The Class of 2010: Gathering at Plank’s Cafe on Parsons Ave.

 

Sunday, September 6: The school’s annual St. Charles Alumni Golf Outing has been incorporated into this weekend and will take place at Clover Valley Golf Club (8644 Johnstown Alexandria Rd, Johnstown, OH, 43031 – 740-966-5533 – http://www.clovervalleygolfclub.com/ ). This scramble event begins with a shotgun start at 1:15 p.m. A $90 entry fee covers the round of golf, a cart, prizes, and a deluxe picnic dinner. Classmates will be paired together in foursomes and arranged in back-to-back groups within the larger fraternal setting of the St. Charles alumni community. You can either use the form enclosed or go directly to https://www.stcharlesprep.org/event/2015-st-charles-alumni-golf-outing/ to sign up on the electronic Reunion RSVP page. Space is limited so don’t wait to sign up (first come, first served).

 

Biographical Update: Regardless of your ability to attend the 2015 Combined Class Reunion Celebration, we hope you will provide us an update to share with others. A special online web address (also accessed from the Online Main RSVP page) has been created at https://www.stcharlesprep.org/event/2015-class-reunion-update/ to use to complete this update conveniently and electronically.

 

Class Gift: Supporting Financial Aid at St. Charles
Our St. Charles reunion gives us an opportunity to reflect upon our years at St. Charles and appreciate the values that education instilled in us. Classes are raising funds to support tuition assistance for needy students and their families to present Principal Lower with a Class Gift on Friday evening at the reunion STAG event. You may also choose to make your gift electronically/securely in the ‘Class Gift Program” section of the special SC Reunion RSVP site at www.stcharlesprep.org/event/2015-combined-class-reunion-weekend-online-reservation-form. Hopefully each of you is able to participate in some way at a level you are most comfortable! (Special note: Your commitment towards our Class Gift will also double as your participation in St. Charles’ 2015-2016 Annual Fund. You will not be asked to make good on pledges until next November when the Fund officially kicks off.)
