Coming in January: 8th Grade Scholarship Test (1-28-17) and Visitation Days

8th Grade Scholarship Test

We invite all 8th grade boys to take our annual Scholarship Test which is being offered at two different times (9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) in the school’s Robert C. Walter Student Commons on Saturday, January 28th. Test results are used to help determine who will receive academically-based scholarships and grants offered for  2017-2018. The test is open to all 8th grade boys living in Franklin or another surrounding county comprising Central Ohio. Anyone interested in sitting for the scholarship test must register by calling the school office (614-252-6714) Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

8th Grade boys are also invited to spend a half day at St. Charles

8th grade boys from all over Central Ohio are being given the opportunity to spend a half day at St. Charles during  the second, third, and fourth weeks of January. They will be sitting in on regular classes and meeting with school administrators, teachers and students. The young men are also treated to a delicious lunch prepared and served by the kitchen staff and mom volunteers.

School gives nearly $2 Million in Tuition Assistance and Academic Awards

St. Charles Preparatory School is interested in attracting young men from every socio-economic and geographic background. For this school year, thanks to the ongoing generosity of our alumni and giving community, we are providing $400,000 in academic grants and more than $1.5 million in tuition assistance to qualified student families.

Were you unable to attend St. Charles’ annual Open House on November 6, 2016 and want to learn more about the school?

We are currently planning  to hold two “Informational Sessions” for 8th grade boys and their parents who could not attend the program on the 6th. These sessions (dates not set at this moment) will be held here on the school’s campus and will only run an hour or so. Each will feature opportunities to learn more about the school’s curriculum, numerous co-curricular activities, financial aid and academic scholarship offerings. So keep your eyes on this post in the coming weeks when we hope to be able to share more details.

Once again, we invite you to call our school office at 614-252-6714 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday for more information or to have your name added to our “prospective student” mailing/e-mail lists.

In the meantime,  if you would like to have your name placed on our “prospective student” list for future mailing/e-mails, you are invited to call the school’s Main Office at 614-252-6714 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
