Sponsored by St. Charles Alumni Association, it is always a great opportunity for fathers, sons uncles, and grandfathers to celebrate the “St. Charles experience” and introduce young family members to the school. It is also one of our first opportunities to welcome incoming 9th graders as well as providing a chance for 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th graders to learn more about St. Charles.

The event began at 9:30 a.m. with Mass celebrated in Mother of Mercy Chapel. Fr. Bill Arnold ’70, Pastor of both Holy Spirit and St. Phillip Parishes, celebrated the Mass assisted by Deacon Marion Smithberger ’72 of St. Timothy Church.

Mass was followed by a complimentary buffet breakfast prepared by Bob Selhorst ’74 and his catering company, Bosc + Brie, in the Robert C. Walter Student Commons.

Our very special thanks to alumnus Rick Keyes ’87, President of Meijer, who was in town from Michigan and served as the event’s guest presenter (photo below).

We look forward to seeing you next year when we move the event into March so that spring grade school/high school athletics won’t prevent anyone from joining us.
