Decription of the Conclusion of the 4th Quarter at St. Charles

St. Charles will be concluding classes the week of May 18-22.

  • We will not administer the traditional 2nd semester final exams. The 2nd semester grade will be calculated as a grade based on the average from the 3rd and 4th quarter grades.  For example, a student who earned an 80 for the third quarter and a 90 for the fourth quarter, will receive an 85 for the 2nd Please remember that the average of the 1st semester and 2nd semester determine a final grade in each course.

  • Each class may have an assessment/s to conclude the 4th quarter work and that grade will be part of the 4th quarter average. Each individual teacher will determine the form of that assessment and provide that information to the students. All testing will take place during the times established for that class during the month of May.

  • AP students will take their exams during their assigned times during the period of time from May 11- May 22. Students are responsible for following the directions established by the AP board.

  • Portfolios of work have been kept in certain classes. A schedule to drop these off at school will be finalized soon, as well as dates to clean out individual lockers, and sent to all families. St. Charles will enforce principles of social distancing as we build this schedule.

  • Final grades for the 2019-2021 will be completed by June 4.

Information about summer school will be sent to our community in the near future.
