End of Year Wrap Up For Class of 2020

The 2019-2020 school year will always be remembered for the Corona Virus pandemic and how it disrupted the ending of the school year. Sadly, many special activities and events were cancelled (the conclusion of the Winter athletic seasons and state tournamewnts2020 Father/Son Mass & Breakfast, Robotics and Engineering Team seasons, Mother-Son Dance, National Honor Society Induction Ceremony, the Cardinal Scholarship Walk/Circus Day, the Academic Awards Assembly…among many others) due  to the state’s “stay at home” orders and cancellations.

The school year ended unlike any other, with social distancing and safety protocols dictating  special procedures for online learning, the cancellation of 2nd semester exams and the school having to host a “virtual graduation-type ceremony.” But while things didn’t end perfectly, they did finish on on a high note when the school was able to host the members of the Class of 2020 in person at a Senior Banquet in the Walter Student Commons (as always…following all safety protocols and social distancing rules, with exceptions from time to time for super-quick groupings for memorable photos) with Bishop Brenna and Superintendent Dufault participating.

Please find here a description of those special end-of year events surrounding graduation with LIVE links to videos highlighting them:
