Prospective 2021 Freshmen: Register Online for 8th Grade Scholarship Test on Jan. 30th

St. Charles is offering its annual 8th Grade Scholarship Test for prospective students on the final Saturday in January in the school’s Robert C. Walter Student Commons (this year, that date is January 30, 2021). Students have their choice of which time of day they wish to take the test: the 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. session. (Note: This date and these times are TENTATIVE at this moment as we continue to follow the safety guidelines set by the state of Ohio.)

The exam is open to any 8th grade boy regardless of his current high school enrollment status. Test results determine which students will receive merit-based academic awards from the school for the 2021-2022 school year. For this 2019-2020 school year alone, St. Charles has offered more than $400,000 in academic scholarships and grants to its students.

Anyone interested in sitting for the St. Charles scholarship test may register by clicking HERE.

Note: A young man does NOT need to have taken the test to be considered for admission! Its results are used to help determine who will receive merit-based scholarships and grants offered by the school to its students in the following school year. These academic scholarships are offered separately from, and are not associated with, the process to apply or receive financial aid funds from St. Charles. This process is accomplished through FACTS.
