Silent Auction Brings Grateful Carolian Community Together

Following last year’s all-online event, the St. Charles Preparatory School community joyfully gathered together in person to celebrate the 34th Annual Cardinal Christmas Auction on Saturday, December 4th. All proceeds from this year’s event are going toward providing for the final interior elements of the construction of the new Frank E. Murphy ’54 Convocation Center.

The festively decorated Robert C. Walter Student Commons was the backdrop for the event hosted by the St. Charles Mothers Club. The night included bidding (both online and in-person) on silent auction items, several “big-ticket” live auction items, and raffles. A buffet dinner was prepared by the Susi Family and Berwick Manor and musical entertainment was provided by the St. Charles Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Rick Brunetto. SC Dad and Advisory Board member, Chuck Strickler, served as Master of Ceremonies.

We are very grateful to all those who attended or provided their time, treasure and talent. We especially acknowledge the tireless work of event co-chairs, Emily Bartlett, Robin Johnson and Tracy O’Neil, whose direction helped make this year’s event a huge success.
