The 2018 Combined Class Reunion Weekend has been scheduled for August 31st & September 1st for the Classes of 1958, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008 and 2013.

Here are the current announced plans for the “Combined Weekend”

The Main Event: On Friday night, August 31st, the All-Classes Stag “Beer-n-Brats” STAG gathering will be held from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. in the Robert C. Walter Student Commons. The cost is $25 per person which includes refreshments and a picnic-style brats and burger dinner buffet. Around 7:00 p.m., Principal Jim Lower will give a “State of the School” update and class photos will be taken directly afterward from 7:30-7:50 p.m. The Cardinal varsity football team plays AWAY this evening, so there will be no game at Walt Plank Field. . Note: The “STAG” is ALUMNI ONLY, NO GUESTS. WIVES/GIRLFRIENDS. They are welcome and encouraged to attend all class functions Saturday (see those listed just below).

On Saturday, September 1st, there will be a morning bike ride along the Alum Creek Bike Trail at 9:00 a.m., a campus tour from 3:00 – 4:15 p.m. and an All-Classes Mass in Mother of Mercy Chapel at 4:30 p.m. for alumni & spouses/guests. Afterward, classes will organize their own private dinner gatherings. There are no formal plans for any activities on Sunday, September 2nd.

Regardless of your ability to attend the 2018 Combined Class Reunion Celebration, please complete this Biographical Update form  with your information and St. Charles memories. Your responses are very valuable and needed to include in a “keepsake booklet” or/and the Cardinal alumni magazine. It allows us to share news of the lives of classmates we have not seen or heard from in many years or several months — learning about families and careers and hearing special stories from your days roaming the halls of St. Charles! Friday night STAG - All reunion alumni are invited to the weekend's main event: The All-Classes Stag "Beer-n-Brats" gathering from 6:00 - 11:00 p.m. in the Robert C. Walter Student Commons. Class photos will be taken and Principal Jim Lower will give a "State of the School" update. Cost per person: $25 includes game ticket and all drinks and picnic buffet. This is a STAG event – NO WIVES, GIRLFRIENDS OR SIGNICANT OTHERS THIS EVENING.

Notes:

--After the STAG event, members of the Class of 1973 will be gathering at the Old Bag of Nails across Alum Creek.

--Members of the Class of 1968 will be gathering privately at the home of a classmate this evening. Contact Ed Hoffman at [email protected] for more details.

--The Class of 1963 will be holding its reunion activities the weekend of October 26th and 27th, 2018. Plans are incomplete but will consist of a STAG night on Friday away from the St. Charles campus and a couples-optional evening on campus and in the Campus Theater’s Cavello Center on Saturday night. Following Saturday's Campus Tour and All-Classes Mass in Mother of Mercy Chapel, many classes have tentatively planned private weekend class functions.

Class of 1958: Following Saturday's Campus Tour and All-Classes Mass in Mother of Mercy Chapel, classmates and guests will gather informally at the Claudiana Italian Restaurant (8475 Sancus Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43240 - 614-846-2236 - http://www.claudianarestaurant.com/contact.html) Cocktails starting at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Everyone on their own dime. Class of 1962: At this time the class has no plans to get together Saturday evening for a private class event. It is centering its focus on getting everyone to attend the Friday Night STAG.

Class Gift Program

Would you like to join your fellow classmates by participating in your class' gift to support financial aid for needy students at St. Charles? This commitment towards your Class Gift will ALSO DOUBLES AS YOUR 2018-2019 St. Charles Annual Fund. You will not be asked to make good on pledges until next November when the Fund officially kicks off.
