Our thanks to Fr. Jonathan Wilson ’92 (Pastor of St. Paul Church) for serving as our celebrant with the assistance of Deacon Frank Iannarino ’71 (St. Brigid of Kildare Parish).

The Distinguished Alumnus Award was established in 2005 to recognize alumni who have honored St. Charles Preparatory School by their outstanding professional achievements, volunteer activities, and community-organization advocacy. These alumni have shared their affection for St. Charles Preparatory School and its community and have been shining examples of high moral and ethical standards.

St. Charles has specifically chosen the Mass of Thanksgiving as the forum at which to honor these men because it enables the school to publicly acknowledge their achievements and to present them as visible role models for our student body to emulate.

Mr. Bringardner  was acknowledged for work with his parish, St. Timothy, as well as the Columbus Serra Club and its efforts to foster and promote vocations to the ministerial priesthood of the Church and to support priests in their sacred ministry.

Fr. Walter was recognized for his devotion on behalf of the people of the Diocese of Columbus for 50+ years, including having served 15 Diocesan parishes, four high schools, and three hospitals as chaplain.

Mr. Miller was honored for his work to grow cultural diversity and support at St. Charles and in the professional world, reflected through his involvement with the school’s “My Brother’s Keeper” Mentorship program, Development Office, and as a member of the St. Charles Advisory Board, as well as his work with companies such as the United Negro College Fund, Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council and First Tee of Ohio.

These Loyal Carolians have also all remained close and involved with classmates, attending reunions and special events here at school over the years.

They truly follow that mantra that St. Charles seeks to instill in every student and graduate: We are “Our Brother’s Keeper.”
