Hockey Team Playing For Berth in State Division I Final Four

Under first-year Danny Greiner, the St. Charles Hockey Team is on the cusp of advancing to its first state tournament since 2014! The second-seeded Cardinals have played their way to within one game of making the state tournament’s Final Four which will take place March 8th-10th at Nationwide Arena. They take on defending state champion and #1 seed, Olentangy Liberty, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd, for the regional title.
To get to this point, the Cardinals handily defeated Cincinnati Elder in the first round of the Columbus Regional. They followed that with a 4-3 DOUBLE OVERTIME victory over Cincinnati St. Xavier and a 6-3 win over Dublin Jerome. 

All Cardinal fans are urged to get out to the Nationwide Ice Haus this Saturday to cheer on the team!
