On November of 2022, St. Charles initiated a year-long series of activities in anticipation of the school's 100-Year Anniversary. The "year" concluded on November 3rd as the school community gathered to mark this momentous milestone on the Feast of Saint Charles Borromeo.

That Friday morning, Bishop Earl Fernandes celebrated Mass in the Robert C. Walter Student Commons alongside many other members of the clergy of the Diocese of Columbus, including SC alumni priests and deacons. There was a procession of Decade Banners carried by students which were followed by alumni of each era.

After Mass, a special Centennial Celebration was hosted by Principal Jim Lower. It included proclamation from Bexley Mayor Ben Kessler,  a short video history of St. Charles, and items were brought to the stage to be placed inside a special time capsule.

Before dismissing everyone for a buffet lunch in the Frank E. Murphy ’54 Convocation Center, Bishop Fernandes announced that the Brotherhood Center construction project was ready to move ahead. And as has become a tradition at the Feast Day Mass, he also released the students from classes for the remainder of the day.

    A truly momentous day!
