  • Giving to the Cardinal Family!

We are blessed to have the support of Dr. Kevin and Dr. Ann Sage, Co-Chairs of the 2025-26 Annual Fund and proud parents of Evan '23 and Sam '26.

St. Charles families have a long and proud history of supporting our Annual Fund and realizing the impact every gift makes in educating our young men.

Tuition alone cannot provide the scholarships, programs, and resources that enrich our students' experience. Your support of the Parents’ Annual Fund ensures that every boy has access to the best our school can offer.

We invite you to invest in this mission. Your gift directly impacts every Cardinal and his classmates today, while also securing the future for the boys who will follow.

With your support, St. Charles will remain a place where young men grow in faith, character, and intellect—prepared to lead and serve in a world that needs them.

Frequently Asked Questions

List of 6 frequently asked questions.

  • What is the purpose of the Annual Fund?

The St. Charles Annual Fund is an unrestricted fund that supports our day to day operating budget for our entire 26.2 acre campus, while also giving us the flexibility to recruit and retain faculty members with exceptional qualifications.  When you give to this unrestricted fund, you also provide resources which help address emergent needs that may arise during our fiscal year from July 1 - June 30.
  • Where can I see my contribution at work?

Everywhere our 650+ young men and their teachers are at work! Some other areas that are supported include technology upgrades and faculty professional development opportunities for recruitment and retention.
  • Why is a gift of ANY size important?

Your gifts as a Parent, Alumnus, Alumni Parent or Friend of St. Charles show your belief in our mission and your confidence in what we do each day.  When your gift is combined with others, it provides a compelling case to our most generous donors and foundations, that collectively, we have the support of a large percentage of families and alumni.
  • I know what I want to give, but I can’t until next year...

Make a pledge! Pledging a gift and making payments according to a schedule that you determine enables St. Charles to plan for your gift and to take your planned participation into account. Our Development Office will send you reminders according to the schedule that you request.
  • Who is asked to contribute to the Annual Fund?

Parents of current students, alumni and alumni parents are asked to contribute to the Annual Fund to ensure the day-to-day excellence of the school and to show your support of our faculty and staff's continued efforts in delivering the best education in central Ohio.  Other donors to St. Charles include grandparents, employers, neighbors and local businesses, who see the value in keeping St. Charles fiscally strong and in building better men of faith, character and leadership.
