Mike Ryan begins his 14th year of coaching overall, his fourth as Head Varsity Coach. This is his second stint at St. Charles after coaching for the Division I State Runner-Up Upper Arlington Golden Bears during the 2013-14 season. Coach Ryan has held every coaching position in the program at some point in his career – Head and Assistant Freshman Coach, Head and Assistant JV Coach, as well as Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Ryan also serves as a member of the faculty at St. Charles as Assistant Athletic Director and teaching Physical Education.

Coach Ryan grew up in Worthington and attended St. Michael School. He is a 2010 graduate of St. Charles, where he played basketball and football. Coach Ryan is a graduate of Otterbein University with a degree in Health and Physical Education. He also graduated from Ohio University with a Masters in Sports Administration and Ohio Dominican University with a Masters in School Administration. He resides in Gahanna with his wife Kellie and their dogs - Remy and Archie Mills.
