Hockey Team in State Final Four!

With a 4-2 win over defending Division I state champion Olentangy Liberty in the regional finals, the St. Charles Hockey Team has advanced to the its first state tournament since 2014!

The Cardinals (24-11-3-1) will play Hunting Valley University School, last year’s state runner-up, in a semifinal at 4 p.m. Friday at Nationwide Arena. The winner will face Toledo St. Francis or Cleveland St. Ignatius for the title at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Nationwide Arena.

Under first-year Danny Greiner, the Cardinals handily defeated Cincinnati Elder in the first round of the Columbus Regional. They followed that with a 4-3 DOUBLE OVERTIME victory over Cincinnati St. Xavier and a
6-3 win over Dublin Jerome.
