St. Charles was founded in 1923 with the mission to serve all families in central Ohio seeking a Catholic all-boys college preparatory education. Today, we are still committed to assisting families financially to make a St. Charles education a reality. Each year, our students receive over 1.7 million dollars in scholarship and financial aid from the St. Charles Endowment Fund. This fund is generously supported by our many alumni, families, and friends. Below are the scholarship and financial assistance avenues available to prospective families:
I. Academic Scholarships: Each year, St. Charles offers a scholarship test to incoming freshmen. This year the scholarship test will be administered on January 28th (9:00am and 1:00pm) and February 5th (9:00am).
II. Charism Scholarships: These awards are grants for students who have shown they exemplify the values of our school or qualities of the school's patron saint, Saint Charles Borromeo, in their daily lives. Students will come to St. Charles to write their essay during one of four dates: January 18th (4:00pm), January 19th (6:00pm), January 28th (12:00pm and 4:00pm), or February 5th (12:00pm). This opportunity will award a minimum of one scholarship to a student from each Catholic parish in central Ohio.
III. Financial Aid: Any family who has applied to St. Charles is eligible to complete the financial aid form found HERE. Applications must be submitted online by March 15, 2023.
