St. Charles provides a major part of its assistance to families through:
I. The St. Charles Endowment Fund provides need-based aid as well as merit-based academic scholarships: St. Charles makes use of the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Service to assist us in our evaluation of tuition assistance requests. Families only need to submit a single application even if there are multiple family members at one or more of the Diocesan schools. Applications must be submitted online by March 15. Click HERE to apply for tuition assistance.
II. Academic Scholarships are offered separately from, and not associated with, the process to apply or receive tuition assistance funds from St. Charles. The school uses a student’s performance on the annual 8th Grade Scholarship Test to help determine who will receive these merit-based scholarships and grants offered in the following school year. St. Charles offers this test for prospective students on the last Saturday in January in the school’s Robert C. Walter Student Commons. The test is administered twice that day, at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
