Water Polo Team 3rd in State
Congratulations to the St. Charles varsity Water Polo Team which finished 3rd in the state after last weekend's competition.
The Cardinals were defeated by Toledo St. Francis 8-10 in the semifinals. They rebounded to beat Mason in the third-place game 16-11 on the strength of the play by All-State honorees Pierce Bateman (nine goals) and Liam Miller ( five goals). They finished the season with a 36-4 record. St. Francis defeated Upper Arlington 9-8 in the championship game.
