Fall Theater production begins this week!

Beginning this week, the St. Charles Theater presents Inspecting Carol!

Inspecting Carol deals with a struggling regional theatre company that is rehearsing its annual production of Charles Dickens' seasonal standby, A Christmas Carol. Rehearsals are at a standstill and their funding is on hold. Tim is no longer Tiny, Scrooge wants to do the play in Spanish (Feliz Navidad), when they get news of the impending arrival of a funding inspector from the National Endowment for the Arts to review their work. When they assume that the man who asks to audition is really an informer for the NEA, everyone caters to the bewildered wannabe actor and he is given a role. What will happen when the actual funding inspector shows up? Cross A Christmas Carol with The Government Inspector and Noises Off to make great holiday entertainment. Why not? thought the nationally respected Seattle Repertory Theatre's resident company. This laugh out loud spoof makes for a night at the theatre that is anything but show business as usual. Perfect anytime, this delight is particularly appropriate at Christmas.

Inspecting Carol will be presented November 16, 17, & 18 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Charles Campus Theatre. Adult tickets are $15, student tickets are $10.  Reservations may be placed by visiting the St. Charles website homepage at scprep.org – Buy Tickets button.
