School Hosts Area Alumni at Elegant Downtown Chicago Event

On Thursday, September 4, in downtown Chicago, St. Charles hosted more than 30 of its graduates living around the area for a special gathering. Just as it had in downtown New York City's elegant Metropolitan Club, St. Charles organized a formal event in the Windy City's elegant LondonHouse.

The school had established a solid track record of meeting with alumni in Chicago, having previously hosted alumni events at summer Cubs baseball games on the ‘Wrigley Rooftops” from 206-2019.
The night began with a cocktail hour in the hotel's upper lounge where Head of School Jim Lower shared videos from school and spoke about all the great things going on at the school---all things that should make them very proud to be Carolians. He was followed by local entrepreneur, Dog Shank The group was then escorted to the rooftop bar where the building's Cupola had been reserved exclusively for the group. Everyone enjoyed served hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and unbeatable and unforgettable views of Chicago’s skyline along the river.

St. Charles is looking forward to the event spring-boarding into something bigger: the establishment of a Chicago Regional Alumni Association Chapter. A group of alumni living in the large metro area around New York City created its own regional chapter several months ago and are serving as a model for other groups of alumni around the country.
