Educational Support

At St. Charles Preparatory School, supporting our students on a daily basis is paramount to their success.
In order to better assist our students, we provide two formal programs: The Learning Formation Team and our Borromeo Program. Both of these are open to ALL students that attend St. Charles, but students with 504 plans, Individual Education Plans (IEP), academic support plans, and services plans are a key focus for our educational support team.
The Learning Formation Team was created to support students of varying learning needs.

Meet the Learning Formation Team

We have a team of seven educators that are immersed in supporting the students at St. Charles. This team includes four teachers, two aides, and an intervention specialist. Our Learning Formation Team has a wide array of skills, and each member of the team is an expert in the subject areas that our students study in our classrooms. We rely on data to target students that are in need of assistance, and our team checks in with those students in study hall, before school, after school, and during our enrichment period to make sure they are on-task and successful in and outside of the classroom.

Ransom Perkins Class of 2025

The Learning Formation Team has really helped me stay on top of my work and avoid distractions. I have a teacher in front of me at all times.

The Borromean Program

The Borromean Program is designed to allow students easier access to teachers after school. Teachers have formalized quiz/test review and homework assistance sessions that allow students the ability to have their questions answered in an interactive format. This program is open to ALL students in our community.
St. Charles Preparatory School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
