2026 FSMB Gathering

St. Charles is pleased to be hosting the 17th Annual Father/Son Mass and Breakfast on Saturday, March  7. 

This event is open to ALL  fathers and sons, especially current students, incoming 9th graders, alumni and their fathers/sons, and grade schoolboys of ANY age who may be interested in learning more about the school.   
  • Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the Robert C. Walter Student Commons.
  • Buffet breakfast served by Berwick Manor.
  • Presentation by Mr. Kelly Henderson, President and CEO of Catholic Social Services about being "Our brother's Keeper."
  • Father/son service activity assembling 1,500 snack boxes for underserved children in after-school programs. 
The breakfast is free, but you are still asked to reserve your spot(s) by February 28th to ensure there is plenty of food on hand for everyone.

More than 425 people were on hand for the event, including alumni, alumni fathers and current students, grandfathers, and friends. In addition, there were many incoming 9th graders and 5th-8th grade boys and their fathers who are interested in learning more about the school.
 
Thanks also to our caterer, Berwick Manor and the Susi Family, for a wonderful breakfast buffet; Sacristan Sr. Margaret Hoffman, OSF (SC faculty member); organist Isaac Dryfuse ’26; cantor Milan Lillis ’26, readers Jim Zink ‘89 and his son, Jimmie ’26. We are also grateful to the St. Charles Alumni Association for sponsoring and helping coordinate the event, including event chairman Dr. Ralph Napolitano ’89 and the association’s president. Jim Greenhalge ’88.
