Annual Spaghetti Dinner (Feb. 1st) Seeking Volunteers & Diners!

The Annual St. Charles Spaghetti Dinner - Sunday, February 1st
 
We are pleased to announce that the St. Charles Spaghetti Dinner will take place on Sunday, February 1st, from 1:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m., in the Robert C. Walter Student Commons.
 
While Berwick Manor will take care of providing the delicious meal, we rely on the generosity of our alumni, parents, and students to help us with the myriad of other tasks that day.

Would you volunteer to help us on one of the two work shifts that day (1st Shift -12:25-4:00 p.m.)(2nd Shift -3:30-7:00 p.m.) How about your son(s)?

Here are a few details for volunteers:
  • You can also sign up your son(s) to volunteer in addition to you or you and your spouse/significant other.
  • Choose from: 1st Shift (12:25-4:00 p.m.) or 2nd Shift (3:30-7:00 p.m.)
  • Please consider signing up for the 2nd shift when we are the busiest and need the most help!)
  • Volunteers receive a FREE DINNER as one of our ways to say, “Thank You!”
  • Students receive FOUR (4) volunteer hours toward their service requirements.
  • A meeting with volunteers will be held 20 minutes before each scheduled shift that Sunday in the Guidance Office (on the 2nd floor directly above the kitchen) with Alumni Director, Louis J. Fabro ’83. That is when you will have the opportunity to sign up for a specific duty.
  • Volunteers will receive an informational/reminder e-mail a week before the event. FYI - student volunteers are asked to wear black pants with a long-sleeved white dress shirts. NO TIE.
    Dinner will be prepared by the Susi Family and its staff from Berwick Manor. Guests will enjoy a bountiful meal of spaghetti with meatball, salad, rolls, ice cream, and a beverage. Cost is $16.00 for Adults; $11.00 for Senior Citizens; $8.00 for Children ages 5-12 (4 and under are free). There is also a special $70 Family Rate (dine-in, up to 6 immediate family members). Tickets purchased at the door and carry out orders will be available.

    The St. Charles Jazz/Concert Band will perform from 2:15-3:15 p.m. and return after a dinner break to play from 4:00-5:00 p.m. that afternoon.
