    The Brotherhood Center
Historically, in architecture the cornerstone was the most important part of any building. It is the focal point of a building and the thing on which it most depends for structural integrity. In ancient times, the cornerstone was usually one of the largest, most solid, and most carefully constructed stones in an edifice. The total weight of an edifice rested on this particular stone, which, if removed, would collapse the whole structure.
In the Catholic faith tradition, Jesus Christ is that cornerstone.

Building on the cornerstone of faith, brotherhood, and academic excellence, the Brotherhood Center is dedicated to empowering young men to discover and nurture their God-given talents and responsibility to serve others.

The construction of this new multi-story student learning center is the cornerstone of our vision as we prepare for the future. Connecting to the Frank E. Murphy ‘54 Convocation Center and the Robert C. Walter Student Commons, it will be a welcoming, open place where students and faculty can utilize the latest technology and work independently or in a collaborative and creative environment. The Brotherhood Center will offer up-to date technology and more classroom space as we prepare for both the population growth of Columbus and an expanding St. Charles enrollment in the years ahead.

The Brotherhood Center will feature:
  • 11 New Classrooms
  • Media Center and Library
  • State of the Art Technology
  • Chemistry & Science Labs
  • School Spirit-wear Store
  • Welcome Center
  • Amphitheater
  • 3 Collaborative Learning Spaces
  • Nurse & Wellness Center
  • Admissions Center
  • Additional Student Lockers
